I flew up to New York City the weekend of September 6-8, 2024, for the “soft launch” of my book, “The River Will Be a Part of Us,” at the ICP 2024 Photobook Fair. The International Center of Photography (ICP) is in the vibrant Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan. This was a new experience for me. I got to meet all the folks at Daylight Books who actually put my book together, and several fellow Daylight Books authors also launching new books. My “book signing event” was on Sunday, and there I got to meet lots of folks who had interesting questions about the raft adventure, and sold and signed several of my books.
